Hey, I just finished watching my copy of On the Beach for the first time, and boy am I feeling depressed!
mr. Astaire does have an interesting role... I didn't know he could act like that. I have been searching for a dramatic monolouge to present for a theater class; and when I listened to fred, I decided to look for a typed version to memorize. I am studying all versions of apocalypse in media - including videogames and films, new and old. On the Beach caught my eye and will probably be one of my favorites for years to come. Another old and obscure film I own stars a young Don Johnson as a post-apocalypse born kid who spends his time fighting for canned food with his telepathic dog. It is called A Boy and His Dog. I have had the pleasure of trying out the modern xbox game based off of this film: Fallout 3.
It's been a pleasure.
