After a lot of back and forth bantering with myself, I’ve decided to bite the bullet and start this blog. Like so many other lemmings jumping blindly off a cliff, I feel the burning need to talk about my love for classic movies. I started getting into them about four years ago and over those years, my love for them has grown to the point of no return.
I’m hoping this blog will be a bit different than other movie blogs out there. It won’t be filled with bland and boring reviews (although I’m sure a review will sneak in here and there), but commentary, thoughts and even the occasional rant about movies, actors, songs and scenes that continue to amaze me day in and day out. Mp3’s will also be posted, because who doesn’t love a good classic song every now and then, right?
Over time, I’ll be getting used to posting here and I hope you’ll stick with me. It’s going to be fun–I hope.
~PS: I’m kind of hoping this blog will be the equivalent of those special edition dvd’s that give you deleted scenes, outtakes and the extended “Roadshow Version” of the movie.
Thus, the name of this blog. Clever, huh?
